March 10 th I'll be again in Haikou, this time for 10 days. Do somebody knows an guide or birding people there.

thanks in advance

Mietek

I'm just back from Haikou. This time I went to Dongzhaigang Forest Park, but unfortunately, all migrants birds left already. So I've spent few days in a Ever Green Park, always good for birding and even Mangrove forest, which was nice, even not new to me, but for bird pictures quite dificoult.
I have again a planty of bird pictures and I would appreciate very much for ID.

Regards

Mietek

I've bin in Hikou for one week, but not so much time to go for bird photography. Again I've visited Ever Green park, which is really a very good place to take pictures of bird, but unfortunatelly, almost the same birds are staying there. Migrant have left already also not so much surprised species.
I went also to an location, close to Haikou, to see bee eater (Merops viridis). It was amazing to see a colony of more then 50 birds hunting for insekts and seating around. It was a old sand pit and I'm afraid in few months, it will desappear.
