It's not. There were a pair of 'orphan' Tapirs released on the resort grounds and hand fed from a young age.

Ben, told the same story today by the park rangers. I would love to have 'ticked' that as my 'wild Malaysian tapir' and avoid a hike to kumbang hide, but nevertheless nice to see anyway.
