Alberta Sandpipers (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Here's a few sandpipers I've found the last few summers:

1) This guy was spotted at dusk along a mountain stream high up in the Rockies in Jasper National Park. Terrible picture because it was very low light. Spotted Sandpiper maybe?

2-3) Both at Astotin Lake in Elk Island National Park. I'm guessing Semipalmated because that's what I've found previously at Lake Astotin.

4) Another day, another year actually, but the same place. Along the shore of Lake Astotin. This one I'm also thinking is semipalmated.

What time of year do you get Semipalmated at Astotin? I haven't had any Calidris sandpipers there at all, only the standard avocet/killdeer/spotsand/yellowlegs.
