Do You Know This Bird? (1 Viewer)

(I apologize if this is the wrong place to put it. Still getting my wings, so to speak.) I've goggled this to death and back.

I have no earthly idea what this bird is. I mentioned in a post, and it's worth mentioning again, I only know the birds in my immediate area. I'm still new at identifying birds that I don't see everyday in the forest here. And now, this bird showed up early in the spring, and I believe he (and mate) nested nearby because I see them every day.

Anyhow, the pic...it's not great, I apologize for it. I've been trying a week so far to get a picture of him, but he's faster than my shutter speed. Didn't allow me enough focus time when he finally settled. He has a mate, and she is green as well with a yellow head(minus the black). I don't know if this is a wild bird, someone's loose pet bird, or what. :-C Hoped you could help! (Thanks!!)

Hooded Warbler

Wow..thanks. lol...now I know why they have no interest in my feeder (read they eat insects only?). They have a food source, but, may set them up with another.

Thanks again!

affe22,
Thanks, but, I wish he would've settled a bit longer to allow my cam to focus. I was about a foot away (through a window. I was in , he was out..lol). He's getting more accustomed to me peering at him every day, so hope to be able to set up outdoors a good piece away (cam zooms a good bit) later on and get better shots of him. He's so cute.

Thanks again .
