Hello all
Im looking to buy a good, cheapish set of binoculars for my dad for christmas but I dont really know anything about them apart from they can be quite confusing when it comes to choosing so I would really appreciate your help.
What he wants them for is mainly looking out to sea at the boats and wildlife from his place in Spain, aswell as landscapes in general.
Im looking to spend up to £60 really.
Thanks very much in advance for your suggestions.

I think in that price range a pair of Nikon Action 8x42 would fit the bill. Widely available. If your Dad wears glasses all the time, check they have enough eye-relief for him.

thanks alot lads thats much appreciated. He only wears glasses occasionally for reading so I'll look at the Nikon's.Cheers Sancho
