Time Table for spring neo-trop movement thru St.louis
Hi everyone. Heres a link to a tremendous piece of scholarship by a fellow
St.Louisan.Charts spring movement frequency of passerine neo-trops through area.Mr.Korotevs work is based on a 20 year study he conducted at our Forest park.May seem dated, but Ive found it to be extremely accurate to this day.In my mind this time table could be applied to areas adjacent, and possibly time projected to areas north for birds using mississippi flyway. Am staggered by dead on accuracy of this work,as I have been for past ten years.Enjoy. Bill http://levee.wustl.edu/~rlk/wgnss/nn99kf/nn99kf.html |
