Tanager on a hummer feeder? (1 Viewer)

Overheard two ladies discussing what one thought was a male Western Tanager guarding her hummingbird feeder. I said "Are you sure it was a Western Tanager? It was probably an Oriole" Oh no, she was adamnant that it was a Tanager. I have never read or heard of such behavior. Secretly thought she was mistaken. Anybody?
