Any Birding spots near Padua?

Going with the wife for 4 days at the end of April and looking for somewhere to catch some birds/wildlife for a day within easy train distance, any ideas?

The area around Mesola I visited some years ago.
Lots of waders, gulls, terns and even Flamingos was there.
Alle European egrets and herons live there.
The easeast to found was Purple and Night Heron.

check trenitalia

Best regards
Dieter
