We have a mourning dove nesting in our grape vine trellis. Her nest was so flimsy and weak that I came to this forum looking for more info or suggestions. So far it has been very helpful. Thanks!

Hi Theresa,

Nests of doves are notorious for being poor and flimsy constructions. In any case: Welcome to BirdForum - I hope you'll enjoy the time spend here as much as the rest of us do :t:

Hi Theresa, A warm welcome to you from Admin. and Moderators!

Its amazing they ever bring a clutch to fledgling stage. Most nests you can look through it! Best not to tamper with it, they have been doing it their way for eons, and we sure have plenty of MoDos.
