Good Afternoon (1 Viewer)

Hello and a very Good Afternoon to everybody.

I'm interested in some birdwatching and am particularly keen on learining more about Owls here in Wales and the rest of the UK.

I'm very much a novice and my username is not meant to infer any superiority in anyway shape or form whether it be ownership of equipment or knowledge of birding. I use Leica Trinovid 8 x 50 BA's and have recently acquired a pair of the older Leitz 7 x 42 BA's (I purchased a pair of 10 x 40 BA/N's in 1987 and they were not easy for me to handhold-had more success with my present 8 x50's, the 7 x 42's are 30 odd years late and represent what I SHOULD have purchased back then)

I do possess some knowledge of Leitz/Leica and may contribute the odd post and photo.

Thanks very much for having me.

Hi. Welcome to the Forum. Looking forward to reading your posts. :t:

PS I believe Rhumney Warf can be decent for Short Eared Owls in the Winter. Keep an eye on the Glamorgan birds website.
