While in Costa Rica earlier this month I saw 27 or 28 species of Hummingbirds--truly a spectacle if you have never been. I was able to photograph 17 species and have put them in a gallery on my site listed below:

Tim, those are great photos. I think the Fiery-throated was my favorite of the bunch with his multi-colored gorget.

Thank you! Fiery-throated was my favorite to see. A close second were the Coppery-headed Emeralds which in the right light are the craziest green color:

Tim,

They do have an amazing color. I also enjoyed the Magnificent's probably because I see them here each summer. I'm not great at getting the vibrant gorget colors in my photos.
I'm sure the forum users would love it if you posted some of these in the gallery.

Tim, a beautiful website of hummers. Can you tell me which tour company you went with to Costa Rica? Also what photographic equipment did you use?
