Large mammal tracks, UK (1 Viewer)

Hi SPF........do not think tracks are fox....look 'very' like badger to me...4 forward claw, almost parallel impressions....wud indicate this species i think....i am no expert but just a keen 'track/sign' enthusiast! Maybe a more experienced 'tracker' might like to comment....!

No probs.........'tracks' can be a bit tricky...[especially when not a clear impression].

ps....been looking [again] for otter tracks today....found 'possible'...but prints were highly degraded.....always makes it difficult....!

I've seen otter tracks at Rye House. More good luck than skill; there were right under a sign saying "Look out for otter tracks" and it had rained hard the night before and the otter must have run through some think mud. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera.
