Please help identify the grouse and sparrow-like bird. The images are all of the same individual grouse and unknown.

Grouse looks like a Ruffed; the main ID competitor here would be Sharp-tailed.

As for the sparrow - when were these pics taken? It looks like a young Spizella, perhaps a Brewer's.
