Mystery Gull ID ? (1 Viewer)

there are some contradicting features - large mirrors, with all white p10 tip is like in GBBG. pale iris is not so good for neither GBBG nor kelp gull, but it would be an exceptional primary pattern for a graellsii/intermedius LBBG (and wings look too broad, bill looks too heavy for the latter ). i wouldn't worry too much about bill colouring, some subterminal marks are often there in any LWHG and red on the upper mandible, well, occures in some sp. (like e.g. YLG and LBBG or in birds fed with red shrimps..).
where exactly did you see this? GBBG has been breeding off the coast of marrocco...

Off the coast of Mauritania. Flock of 100+. along with Audouin Gulls.

the white tip after the red banding thats got me ?

Thanks for the replies
