It looks like a thrasher to me too. I would have been surprised to see one up after seeds on a feeder! I think of them down on the ground feeding, and not having an interest in seeds. I don't know that much about thrashers, but it seems like a pretty novel view you got.

Once it a great while I'll get a curve-billed thrasher on my seeds or suet here in Tucson, so although this isn't typical behavior, it's not unheard of either. I would guess that the cold, snowy weather provided some extra motivation for this particular brown thrasher to partake in a few seeds.
