Hi all,
this one has me stumped! I took the picture in Dominical in CR (south of the country on the pacific coast) in early july. Thanks for any help,

That's a pretty green Palm Tanager, though I agree the i.d. is correct. Both Skutch and Garrigues picture a much grayer bird. The only picture I've taken also shows much less green. Effects of ambient lighting?

I agree with the ambient light causing the much greener feathers. Here is a photo of a Blue-Gray and a Palm next to each other. You can see the green cast to the feathers. With less light that would be accentuated.
