Landing on the Bass Rock? (1 Viewer)

On the recent "Britain Goes Wild" programmes, Simon King stated that landing is no longer allowed on the Bass Rock - except for TV film crews, of course! I have landed there twice over the last few years with no problems, and would love to do so again. Anyone know what the current position on this is? Can members of the public get permission to be dropped off there? If not, why not? I would love to get some more photos of those wonderfully photogenic Gannets! Any information appreciated. Thanks!
