Quick-Find Index for BIRDS of NEW GUINEA Pratt & Beehler 2nd ed.
I figured I'd do a Quick-Find Index for the Pratt & Beehler book BIRDS OF NEW GUINEA (2nd edition) before the Lynx book for the same area comes out. That might allow for some easier comparisons. It's only on looking at this book again recently that I realized they chose a somewhat special approach for the sequence. It's essentially a combination of systematics (classic, not the new one), habitat, and similarity in appearance.
I glued my new index on to page 2, that's where Princeton placed their catalog of other field guides. I think that list does not need to be accessible in this book, and the position for the Index is relatively ideal.
As always, feel free to copy it, adapt it and use it. The size fits, just needs to be trimmed on the sides.
