Migration in Hanoi (1 Viewer)

Good time to be in Hanoi now, lots of interesting migrants passing and having a rest in Hanoi's parks. Got more lifers from the last strolls through the parks here than from my last proper birding weekends in the forests. Eg. new for me were Brown-chested Jungle Flycatcher, Forest Wagtail, Ferruginous Flycatcher, Daurian Starling. Also possible to see birds that normally need quite some stalking work in mountain forests to find, like White-tailed Robin.

However, as so often with birding in Vietnam, it's not always a pleasant experience, as this blog entry and comment illustrates.
