rspb burton mere & burton point (1 Viewer)

first time visit to area, didnt get full advantage of reserve men at work around first pool, went to hide on second pool,
4xpintail,2x shoveller,6xgadwall, 3xshellduck,20xwigeon,50+teal,30+black-tailed -godwit,50+lapwing,1xlittle grebe, 1xstonechat.inner marsh closed:C
went to burton point ,highlight of day 3x short-eared-owl :t: also 2x buzzard, 2x kestrel, 1xsparrowhawk, 4xlittle egret, alot of bird activity in distance, bit to far even for scope, will have to visit again hopefully there wont be any work going on, my son thought the rats were great he saw under feeders:-O

will be even better when the footpath work is completed and you can walk right around the reserve from the one car park.

And add a hide near the reception save looking through that pesky glass :-O

C'mon there is a stand not too far away and a hide within a few minutes walk
