Southern Cyprus 4-day Spring-migration bash 6th April -10th April 2011 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Many thanks of interesting report(s)! I was in March 2010 two weeks holiday with my family (my wife + small baby). A few times i had also time to watch birds although i made only one whole day bird trip in my vacation.

Cyprus was very beautiful and peaceful place in March, i can recommendate the place for everyone who loves relaxed places!

And interesting birds there were also. I saw 114 species and a few were lifers (8 species if i remeber right). We were in Ayia Napa, so i also can recommend the surroundings of Cape Greco, which is near to it. Two other places i want to mention: Lake Paralimini and Larnaca Salt lakes.

Here are a few bird photos from my trip:

And if interested, a lot of (too lot ;)) other photos from Cyprus, to approve the beatifulness of springtime Cyprus.

Have a nice trip then!

Nice photos Frugi! Wish I was going for longer, shame its such an expensive island (especially when my wife wants nice hotels only!!):C
