While looking at, searching for, checking up, some obscure eponyms that in some way look or sounds somewhat Swedish, names that might, could, possibly have been commemorations of various Swedish naturalist I found an eponym that doesn´t seems to be linked to Sweden in any way, but most likely to the neighbouring country Denmark ...
landii as in:
• in the invalid (nomen nudum) Eider "Platypus Landii" BREHM 1826 (here):
... most likely the Danish Priest and naturalist Jørgen Landt (1751–1804), who served, preached, explored and collected various Naturalia on the Faroe Islands from 1791 until 1798, Author of Forsøg til en beskrivelse over Færøerne, 1800 (1965), Tórshavn [in English (as George Land): A Description of the Feroe [sic] Islands, ... 1810, London (reprint 1970, New York), here].
However; no rock-solid link found between Brehm and Mr. Landt, not more than the above ... but I haven´t found any other contemporary "Färöischen Naturforscher" by a similar name, this said, of course, fully aware (by experience) of the trouble searching, googling for an unknown "Land" ...
Thereby; take this for what it´s worth.
