Large quality prints (1 Viewer)

Hi there
I am looking to get a large high quality print done and wondered if anyone has any recommendations?

It will be about 1m tall by 30-40cm wide, matt finish and I would want to frame it, although I would get this done elsewhere probably.

I have had a look around online and found people who can do it but but wondered if anyone has any personal experience and can recommend anyone?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Brian

Brian,

I would first look at your original to see if it can take that sort of enlargement.

If you are scanning then you'll have no problem with the resolution.

If the print you require is for a special present or purpose, then I'd look at getting a lambda print, it's a lot more expensive than a inkjet, I would also have it a smaller size. You'll need a specialist printer or display company.

If for ordinary display then there must be a large format printer within easy reach of you. If not check out the internet, you should get an A0 for about RRP £25.00 plus pp.

Thanks for the advice, all points worth thinking about.
All the best
