Would someone be so kind as to id this for me and point out why it is that bird i would be so greatful.

Both images are the same bird. Taken 03/05/2010 SE England

gut instinct was for Willow but I think the fieldmarks lean more towards Chiffie. Very tough one though! (these always are!);)
 
Nice dark legs, slim bill, seems to have brighter supercilium, usually paler. So for me Chiffchaff.
