'Hi
I'm Janet - from Oz, Queensland actually. I'm a zoo keeper by trade with a specialist in birds. I just love to see them wild and flying. Now I work with in the animal welfare industry trying to promote how people can live with birds (all wildlife) in the wild in their backyards.
So Hi - Hope to talk soon and share experiences..
Cheers Janet

Hi Janet and a warm welcome to you on behalf of the Staff and Moderators.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I'll look forward to your contributions.

Welcome Janet and best of luck with your career. Just the thing we need in this era of increasing conflict between rapacious industry and population growth and our beleaguered Mother Nature.

Hi and good evening from Ontario Canada
We have +20C and 95% humidity right now... just heading into summer. The sunset time here is 9:05 pm and sunrise is about 5:42 am. It is 19:54 now. Lots of birds twittering outside my windows.
How is it in the southern hemisphere?

Hey Janet

Welcome to Birdforum! I am sure you will find lots to interest you here, and I hope you enjoy your visits. Your job sounds fascinating.

Hi Janet,
A very warm welcome from Bird filled Norfolk, Nature is a better neighbour to us then we are to it. We need to learn from it.

All the best Nigel
