Help identifying this bird, Bendigo, VIC, Australia (1 Viewer)

Hello

Can anyone tell me what bird this song belongs to? I am just north of Bendigo in Victoria, Australia. I am curious as this bird sings well into the night and early morning. Thanks for your advice!

I'd say your bird is almost certainly -if I can say that- a Willie Wagtail. At this time of year (spring) it is not uncommon for them to sing at night..., sometimes all night. From memory, they began calling where I am (Warwick, Queensland) around the beginning to middle of September.

Way back when, I used to commenced work at 3:30am ..... and arriving at the grounds in Spring in darkness there would be a Willie Wagtail happily singing away o:)
