Brazilian Pantanal? (1 Viewer)

I've booked a visit to the Brazilian Pantanal and Iguazu Falls next year. Does anyone know of any decent field guides to Lepidoptera, specifically moths, for these areas (Internet searches seem very spasmodic in their results).

Many thanks

Dave

Hi Dave
Unfortunately, given the size of the fauna, there's very little published for South America as a whole, let alone a part of Brazil. There are a few internet sources for Brazilian moths but they're very incomplete.
Did you mean Pantanal?

Thanks all...

especially Jim M. At least one of these books may provide at least a starting point for some of the moths.

I've just bought 'Mariposas Nocturnas' by Emmet Gowin, which has photos of 1245 species of moth from Central and South America, which may be a help, although unfortunately only 25 of these species are from Brazil, the vast majority being from Panama and Uruguay. Still, may come in useful in the future!
