Difference btw Nikon Premier SE & Superior E? (1 Viewer)

Would I be correct in saying the the difference btw Nikon Premier SE & Superior E is the Premier dose not have the lead that the Superior E has in the coatings?
Is there any advantage in the lead in the coatings?
Thanks

The Nikon Superior E, or Premier SE binoculars are the very same no difference in
the models, as far as construction goes.

There may be leaded glass in the early versions, and the later ones had eco-glass.
I have had models of the SE from early to the later versions, and the later ones had some
updated lens coatings which help in contrast and clarity, and appear a bit brighter.

I hope this helps. They are all very good, no matter which year.
