Eos 1DX how to change owners name. (1 Viewer)

Hi, I've just bought a second hand 1DX and want to change the owners name already in the camera body. It has allowed Me to change the authors name and copyright details but I can't seem to find out how to change the owners name. The exif details show Me as Author and has my name in the copyright details but still has the previous owners name as camera owner.

Anyone any thoughts please.

Press menu, scroll through to the yellow sections, in one of them you will find copyright information in the list of options, there you can enter your name.

Sorry, just-re read your post and saw you already have done this. Have you tried the green section which resets settings ? ? ?

Short answer - you need to connect it to a computer and use one of the EOS utilities to actually change it to something else. If I'm reading the article correctly, the Delete Copyright Information on the camera will reset the field to blank.
