Over the last 2 weeks we havbe travelled around Scotland - our "spotting list" is as follows:-

Huntly - Aberdeenshire
Peregrine Falcon /Coat tit / Great tit / Robin / Dunnock / Siskin / Greenfinch /
Chaffinch / Great Spotted Woodpecker

John o'Groats
Great black backed gull / wheatear pied wagtail / Herring gull

Orkney
Kittiwakes / Arctic Skua / Great Skua / Rock Pipit / Songthrush / Stonechat / Black Guillemot / Arctic Tern / Lapwing / Whimbrel / Curlew / Oyster Catcher / Willow Warbler / Shag

Durness / Ullapool

Hooded Crow / Ringed plover / Oyster catcher / Pied wagtials / House Sparrows

Aviemore
Wren / robn / Osprey / Chaffinch / Siskin / Greenfinch / Buzzard

Killin - Perth
Mistle Thursh / Blue tit / Blackbirds / Swallows / Greenfinch

The Peregrine Falcon was at Huntley Falcon watch and the Osprey at the RSPB in Boat a Garten. As someone new to the interest and armed with my free RSPB spotter guide it was facinating to see how much is about if you "look up".
