Birding in Algeria (1 Viewer)

Hi

In about a months time, I'm going to move to Oran, in the north-western part of Algeria. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding good patches? Any local contacts?
Also, is it true that one is not allowed to bring binoculars into the country?
