Just found this forum, my wife is into birding and I'm trying to learn how to photograph them when possible. Went to Monte Vista, CO last Sunday and watched the Sandhill Crane migration, it was a real treat. They are having a festival there this weekend. There were thousands of them there last weekend, well worth the trip.
Looking froward to getting more familiar with the birding aspects and picking up tips from the forums.
