Use of "+" in gull ring codes (1 Viewer)

Phil Andrews

It's only Rock and Roller but I like it
United Kingdom
I am trying to trace a Herring Gull ringing scheme that uses "+" in the code; none appear listed on cr-birding. At Upton Warren NR, Worcs we have had two 2cy Herring Gulls that appear to have originated from the same scheme - yellow ring with black lettering "G+G" and "K+F". Does anyone recognise this code structure?

Thanks Phil

They will be from Peter Rock's scheme. He uses two letters with a symbol in between.
