Hello everyone! I've been lurking here for a while but have decided to take the plunge and join the fun!

I confess that I'm not a 'birder' (yet!) but I love observing nature and beautiful scenery etc with a good pair of binoculars! I've learned a lot from reading here already and feel that I have got to know some of you! I'm keen to learn more and am looking forward to contributing from time to time.

Yours, Michael.

Hi there Mike and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello and please join in wherever you like ;)

Hi Mike and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Hi rosbifs,

I live on the west coast in an archipelago area called Larsmo, latitude 63.7 longitude 22.7.

I came past in '99. We drove from Tampere up to Oulu. I pretty sure we stopped somewhere near there to look for Caspian Tern...

My relatives live around Valkeakoski and Tampere.

Great win tonight - into the SF's on Saturday against Sweden.....

Welcome to BirdForum! I am sure you will find lots to interest you here, and I hope you enjoy your visits.
