Not a lister, but have certainly beaten my previous record for "most species seen while standing at one spot" today in the local (Cabinteely) park at lunch. The trees and grass were alive with sights and sounds

Thrushes: Full house - Song, Mistle, Blackbird, Fieldfare, Redwing
Crows: Rook, Hoodie, Jackdaw, Jay, Magpie
Finches: Greenfinch (nice to see them back in numbers), Chaffinch, Goldie, Redpoll, Bullfinch
Pigeons: Wood, Collared
Tits: Blue, Great, Coal, Long-tailed
Gulls: Herring, Blackheaded and one Med in almost summer plumage
BOP: Sparrowhawk, and in the far distance, Buzzard
Starling

I make that 27, All visible without taking a step, and most in some numbers. It was lovely. Added Moorhen, Little Egret and Grey Heron on the way out of the park. No sparrows!

Jeez, thats an impressive pile :t: especially from a standing start.
I've still to see some of these for the first time.
I think I'll have to stop moving about so much :-O
