Brent Goose with Yellow Leg Band (1 Viewer)

Lancey

Well-known member
Dear all,
I photographed this Brent Goose in Kent recently that had a bright yellow plastic band just above the foot on its left leg. Reading the band was impossible unfortunately, but can anyone tell me where such a ringing scheme is in operation.

Thanks,
Lancey

The yellow ring is probably from a Russian scheme. There should be two digits on it and a metal ring on the other leg, which I can't see.

Thanks to you both for your help. I'll have a look a the video of this bird and see if I can spot the metal leg ring. Probably easier said than done though!

Regards,
Lancey
