RARE BIRDS CAUSING A REAL FLAP
Rare birds are causing a flap among visitors at a wildlife centre. The spoonbills have swapped the warmer climes of the Mediterranean for the National Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre at Penclacwydd, near Llanelli.

£30M WIND FARM BID
A CARDIFF-based renewable energy company will be seeking planning permission for a £30 million wind farm on Betws Mountain in the Amman Valley within the next six months.
Eco 2, a subsidiary of the Economy Power Group, is hoping to develop between 20 and 30, 75 metre high turbines on the mountain providing electricity to the national grid, including the Ammanford area.
Company chiefs are already in discussions with commoners, who own the land on the mountain and stand to make a vast amount of cash if the development is given the go ahead.
