New Zealand Falcon (1 Viewer)

Is anyone aware of any papers on this species and its relationship to other members of the Falconidae?

Many thanks.

I'm probably about 30 years out of date on this (and many other things) but there's a discussion in The Falcons of the World (Cade) about whether New Zealand Falcon should be grouped with beasts like Aplomado Falcon, rather than more obvious grouping with Brown Falcon.

I see HBW refers to both possibilities- happy to oblige with a scan if this thread is not visited by someone who knows what's what.
