Dove - Central Nebraska (1 Viewer)

Last week I found this dove in my backyard, seemingly paired up with (Eurasian) Collared-Dove (ECDO). It was obviously smaller than the ECDO, but not necessarily paler. Do you think that this is an escaped Ringed Turtle-Dove, or just a petite ECDO? Or maybe it's just an illusion, that the bird in the foreground is smaller?

Thanks!!
