Hello everyone!

Found this forum following Big Year WP, and after some months lurking, decided to register. Long time birder (>30 years). Have expanded to butterflies few summers ago, but still mainly birding.

Probably I'm not going to be a very active poster, but who knows. Finnish winters are long and dark and not so many birds are around, so I might find time to post here occasionally. In springs and summers I try to spend my free time outside.

And by the way, "tikli" is goldfinch in Finnish.

Goldfinches are so beautiful, aren't they.
