help!Zeiss 8x20 B Design Selection Pocket Binoculars (1 Viewer)

It is "made in german" and the coating is good.who have ever used it ?how about the optical ?is it waterproof?it is the best bino i can find in Ottawa,400ca$.the salesman told me the Zeiss 8x20 B Victory is 700$.too expensive!thank you !
 
Yes they are made in Germany and the optics are top notch. Don't know if they are totally waterproof, many of the Zeiss optics are water "resistant". Check out some good vendors in the U.S., I bought my scope from American Birding Association, also check out B&H Cameras. There is no duty on optics. I'm sure it will be much cheaper than the store in Ottawa. Swarovski and Leica also make top end mini's.
