1 transitional male Village Indigo?
2 a diificult one, possibly female Purple Indigobird?

Such a hard 2 groups, especially for me.

Your help is much appreciated.

don't Village have red bills? Purple have pinkish-white bills and legs, according to our favourite bird guide.

I also agree with the first id, but the second could be any female type Euplectes for me (maybe White-winged Widowbird?)

I think with your link and MacNara's logic, I'll settle for Village Indigobird female.
