Hi,

1 transitional male Village Indigo?
2 a diificult one, possibly female Purple Indigobird?

Such a hard 2 groups, especially for me.

Your help is much appreciated.

1 looks good to me, so, why would 2 not be a female Village?

Purple has white legs and bill unlike your second bird, I think.

don't Village have red bills? Purple have pinkish-white bills and legs, according to our favourite bird guide.

I also agree with the first id, but the second could be any female type Euplectes for me (maybe White-winged Widowbird?)

On second thought, maybe Village Indigo is better for no 2 also...
