Is this even a bird? Naples, FLA (1 Viewer)

I overlooked this as a strange tree formation, but I now am confused as to if it is a bird or not. Is it possible to tell? Great-horned Owl?

Thanks,

I saw that when you first put this picture up a while ago for bird ID (before you cropped out the bird) I wanted to say, "looks like you got yourself a Great Horned owl back there" but didn't feel it necessary. Same thing happened to me at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, thought it was an owl but was just an illusion caused by a tree.

Here's a challenge for everyone.... try to drop the word "dendro-ornithomorphism" into a conversation!... points will be deducted for hesitation... or smirking!

I was not sure because if you look closely you can see a darker portion right where the wing would be. It is just the oddest tree I've ever seen. Thanks to everyone for the replies.

I messed around with the attached photo with the following result. The apparent owl is an extension of the tree.
