UK trade in price eos 40D for 7D (1 Viewer)

Cashie

Hello folks
United Kingdom
Has any one traded there 40D in for the 7D?

I was thinking of doing it & was wondering how much I would get for it.
It is in A1 condition.

You'll be lucky to get £300 for it - remember a photo dealer will want to make some sort of (tiny!) margin on it and will have to add VAT.

Selling privately will get you a better price but I've been trying to sell 2 (both less than a lyear old and less than 15k images taken on each) for ages for £400 each and only just managed to get shot of the 2nd earlier this week.

Be prepared to go sub-£400 to get rid of one nowadays :(

Thanks guys, but I think Iwould rather keep it as a back up than let it go for that, as it only has 2K actuations on it.
