Raptor - Port Fairy, Victoria, Australia (1 Viewer)

A pair of raptors catching fish in Belfast Lough, Port Fairy yesterday morning seen at distance (perching on posts, and fishing). Watched one swoop down in flight and successfully catch good sized fish... it slipped out of talons in flight, fell back into water... bird flew back and picked it up again... took it to edge of lough where it must have eaten it in quick time as it was back out fishing soon after. From distance first thought was osprey, but they don't look like ospreys in photos

Photos taken from distance so not great, sorry. ID assistance greatly appreciated
