Marseille for work late March - any birding tips? (1 Viewer)

Hi

I can probably blag my way to a conference in Marseilles for work in the last week of March, and can either go early or come back later to get a couple of days' birding in. I'll be relying on public transport (and won't have budgets to hire driver/guides, so thanks for the usual offers you may have otherwise made!)

Any tips based on experience for birding in the city on conference mornings, and close by for the free days? Will this be too early in the year? Is the only real option to head out to the Camargue?

Sincere and profound thanks in advance for any useful info.
