Binoviewer on 70 mm refractor vs 3 medium binoculars (1 Viewer)

. It seems that the 70 mm Williams Optics refractor, with the binoviewer could be used successfully at about 85 times, but less successfully at 120 times.

It gave better results than the binoculars tested.

However, I don't think any really large binoculars were tested. But it would seem that the refractor would be a lighter weight option that could be used with a binoviewer at quite high magnifications. And the people who preferred to use both eyes may well find this a good solution.

Binastro...

Thanks for your summary of my lengthy posts on another binoculars forum.
