Confirm ID Normandy, France (1 Viewer)

Hello I took this picture in Normandy, France 2 days ago. Im not very good at gulls but I think its a Great Black-backed Gull. Also the Gull is ringed where do I report this sighting. I have another Gull in the same picture with a readable ring.

Yes, it's a GBB-Gull. You will find (almost) all information about colour-ring projects on http://www.cr-birding.org

Probably about right, interestingly there was another GBB-Gull in the same group with with similar leg rings. I have never managed to clearly photograph leg rings before then I get two in one photograph. Mike

I have filled out the forms to report the two ringed GBB Gulls I photographed at Grandcamp-Maisey but have heard nothing back. I would be interested to know where the birds were ringed. Do they normally reply.
