3 Oystercatcher. 1 Little egret .11 Curlew . 2 snipe. 23 lapwing. 150 Bhg. 2 Herring gull. 2 Little greb. 5 Gadwall 3m/2fm. 1 Shelduck .10 Shoveler. 20 Teal. 12 pochard. 5 greylag. Whooper swan . 27 Cormorant.
 
From the Flashes this morning Des reports:

Stonechat (male), Little Egret, Oystercatcher, Teal approx 50, no Avocets at the Flashes!!
 
From the Moors Pool Alan H and Janette report:

Whooper Swan, 2 Wigeon, 6 Shelduck, 5 Curlew, 1 Oystercatcher, possible female Blackcap along east track

Today's highlights:

FLASHES:
Stonechat (m): Patrolling the fence line right of the oak tree.
Barn OwlFlew towards the hide from the right. It flew behind the hide and then followed the hedge line.

A quick visit to the Sailing Pool at c. 1.45pm today produced the following:

Canada Goose, Mallard, Tufted Duck, 1 Cormorant over, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret flew over from the Flashes and landed in the trees, Great Crested Grebe, Coot, 2 Oystercatcher over, Black-Headed Gull, Lesser Black-Backed Gull over, Magpie, Jackdaw and Carrion Crow.

From a 95% frozen Flashes Andy P reports 14 Avocet looking sorry for themselves plus 2 Oystercatcher.

Later I will post the half monthly maxima for Avocet.

Keep your eyes open over the weekend as currently there is a Black-nwcked Grebe just down the road at Westwood Pool

Whooper Swan, 2 Mute Swan, 9 Shelduck, 2 Little Egret, at least 20 Snipe, Oystercatcher, Barn Owl over the River Salwarpe at 5:35pm.
