Is there such a thing as a double adapter plate with two female screw sockets and one male that would atach to the lens foot ? The idea being I want to attach a monopod and a sling to the lens foot so i can carry as usual with the sling and have a monopod to take the weight (Canon 300 2.8 prime ) when shooting wildlife ? Problem being the lens foot only has one connection !

I am not quite sure what you want to do here. I attach my camera to the monopod in the usual way but I have purchased from Optech one of their longer straps with the short detachable ends. I fix the detachable ends to the monopod and can carry the monopod / camera that way. For a camera strap I use a binocular strap from Optech but with long detachable ends. To make sure the camera can't fall off the monopod I take off the strap itself and connect the detachable ends to each other under the monopod head (the small manfrotto) so if the camera comes loose it is still strapped on. I hope you can make sense of that (I am not sure I can!).

Sounds like you need an Arca Swiss type lens plate and clamp like one of these:

This particular one has multiple mounting holes, so might be what you're looking for. It is expensive though. Cheaper ones on Ebay though not many with multiple mounting holes:

This one has multiple holes:

and so does this one:

Alternatively you could buy a longer lens plate and attach your sling/strap to the back of it, so that it still mounts in the clamp.

Many of these lens plates are also pricey, but cheaper ones are available such as these:

What i have is a monopod which screws into the lens plate of a heavy lens 6 1/2 Lb in weight and a BlackRapid R-Strap RS-7 Curve Digital Camera Shoulder Sling which also needs to be attached to the lens as well so in effect i have two screw male threaded objects and only one female threaded hole in the mount !!! i want the sling to be fixed as a security option so it cant be dropped !!!! if i fit the monopod and try and attach the sling to it the weight of the camera and lens could anap the mount thereby damaging the camera and lens which at over £6000 isnt an option !!!so ideally i need a plate which screws to the lens mount securely then the sling attached to the plate and also the monopod attached as well therefore needing two threaded holes that way i can carry the whole lot on the sling then open the mono to take the weight while trying to get the shot required !!!! hope that makes sense !!! my thoughts are to either have the lens mount drilled and threaded or get a plate made up to fit !!! i was hoping there was something i could but rather than doing that..
